Landhuis Hommelhove

Landhuis Hommelhove is located within walking distance of the pleasant city of Poperinge, best known as the "Capital of the good life", 7 km from the Belgian-French border.

This quiet region in the Westhoek is a beautiful rural area with numerous sights and activities such as the many cycle routes in the Poperinge region and mountain bike routes in the Heuvelland.

For hikers there are plenty of opportunities in the Galgebos, the Palingbeek and the Helleketelbos. Excursions to art cities such as Bruges, Lille and Saint-Omer in French Flanders are a welcome change.

For children there are trips to Bellewaerde in Ypres and Plopsaland in De Panne. The wide beaches of De Panne are only half an hour away by car.

​​​​​​​Landhuis Hommelhove is ideally situated as a base for the commemoration of WWI. Lyssenthoek Military Cemetery, execution site and death cells, Talbot House,... Impressive witnesses of more than 4 years of war violence.

Poperinge has a great history, as evidenced by its religious heritage. Greater Poperinge has 9 monumental churches that take us back to the 13th century.

Landhuis Hommelhove is equipped for 14 persons + 3 babies. No pets allowed.
